I’ve been struggling to find lower calorie options here (I always stock up in the US) so thought I’d share my research in case it helps anyone!

Note: I do not follow a low carb or keto diet, my primary focus is low calories and always trying to add more fibre and protein. For reference, I am based in Alberta and the US options I get are from Kalispell, MT. I did not include pricing as it can vary widely but tried to select Canadian options that weren’t 3x the price of the US options.

Tortillas:
US Option: Mission Low Carb Tortillas - 43 g (1 tortilla) - 70 calories, 15 g fibre, 5 G protein. In terms of taste/value/nutrition content, these are the superior choice. (Costco/Walmart US).
CA Option: Tumaro’s Carb Wise Wrap - 40 g (1 tortilla) - 60 calories, 8 g fibre, 5 G protein (Natura Market).
Honourable Mentions: Flatout Low Calorie Flatbreads (can’t find these in store/online anywhere - only the higher calorie protein up carb down version) and the keto tortillas you can get at Costco CA (price/taste is fine but they are tiny compared to other low cal options).

Bread:
US Option: Franz Keto Bread - 30 g (1 slice) - 35 calories, 11 g fibre, 4 G protein - My favourite option as they are by far the lowest calories I can find for bread. (Costco US).
CA Option: Little Big Bread - 22 g (1 slice) - 55 calories, 2.5 g fibre, 3.5 G protein. (best price is at Costco CA).
PC Blue Menu 100% Whole Wheat - 21 g (1 slice) - 50 cals, 2 g fibre, 2 G protein. (superstore or No frills).
Honourable Mention: Carbonaut (only if bought from Costco) - personally not a huge fan but great if you’re low carb/keto but at 80 cals a slice not worth it to me.

Pasta:
If you like Konjac or hearts of palm you’ll get the best low calorie options. For pricing, Natura Market seems to be better than purchasing in the US.
Banza Pasta - 56 g (1 serving) - 190 cals, 5 g fibre, 11 G protein. definitely cheaper at US Walmart but is also available on Natura Market.
Brami Pasta - 56 g (1 serving) - 200 calories, 6 g fibre, 12 G protein. (Natura Market).
I hate the chickpea pasta sold at Costco so I left it out. In terms of nutrition content, regular pasta is far cheaper and similar in calories. These are just good choices if you want to up the protein a bit and have money to burn.

I hope this information helps someone! And I am always open to new options to try (but please only if they’re available in Canada).
