I have been on a monitored weight loss plan since last December, and I have never been able to meet my macronutrient targets while staying under my calorie limit (1400 cal a day, 120g protein, 120g net carbs, and 50g of fat, and I’m a vegetarian). But somehow, I did it today.
Post Body

Getting close to 120g of protein without blowing way over 120g of carbs has never been possible; not once in two months. I honestly thought it was mathematically impossible.

Honestly, I’ve never worried much about the fat. Hitting the protein target without smashing the carb target within 1400 calories has always been the impossibility.

Honestly, it wasn’t that different from most days, except that I had a very weird supper that was low carb/high protein. Usually I try to just have whatever I make the kids for supper, but today I had a meeting so I had to throw something together quick, late. It ended up being two smart dog, a piece of bread, a hard-boiled egg, and a string cheese. That did it.

I was so excited about this, and showed it to my boyfriend, and he said, “so much sodium, though.” 😖
