Anyone have insight on contract closeout work?
Post Body

Sorry if this isn't exactly the place to post this. I am legally blind and being given the opportunity to go through a CRM/contract closeout related training course to get me back into the workforce after almost going blind last year. I am brushing up a lot on my Excel skills to prepare.. prior a lot of my work has been in comms and logistics. I am wondering two things really:

1) Are these roles typically contracted out or is there potential to get on the GS ladder?

2) Is it relatively easy to jump from contract to contract? My understanding is that some contracts only last a few months.

3) Is the work generally high stress? From my previous supply chain work even though I had a fairly hands-off manager, the work itself was such that I was always doing something, always tracking some shipment to make sure it got where it needed and budgets were in alignment with expectations. I managed the stress with lots of coffee.
