Advice on Wheels?

need new tires soon and figured I'd look into new wheels. the 19s and pot holes in my area aren't great friends. who has gone down to 18s and what do you recommend?
heavily leaning towards gloss black wheels and debating on maybe some Enkei T6Rs or even AVID1 AV6?
