Buying a ball machine

Post Body

Hi everyone,

I pulled the trigger and i’m going to buy a ball machine. It’s possible to rent one at my club but it’s 20 dollars an hour. If I buy a semi-decent one it would cost me a 1000 dollars. Assuming the machine will last me atleast 3 years I think buying one is the better deal (will use it 1-2 times per week). Been thinking about this for months now.

My questions: - would you buy pressureless balls or normal pressurized balls? If pressureless, how long can these be used before they are worn out?

  • Any easy way to carry and store let’s say 100 balls?

  • I know most ball machines come in trolley form (with wheels) but i wonder how to move it when it’s raining hard outside for example.. I was thinking about buying one of those big tennis backpacks to place the machine and the balls in.. Will it be strong enough to hold?

Thank you!
