What’s in your bag (snacks, drinks)?
Post Body

I’m in my mid 40’s, somewhere around a 4.0. I usually play doubles but lately I’ve been playing more singles, morning to noon in nice but warm weather (80s to low 90s). I’m usually good for my first set (or hour of play) but really start feeling the fatigue by the second set or second hour of play, affecting my technique. My legs are OK but my resting heart rate is definitely higher and my accuracy on strokes go down considerably.

I know losing some weight would help and that’s a work in progress. I know increasing endurance by getting in better shape would help. Im in the gym, swim, bike, etc.

But what do you all do in the way of drinks and snacks? I usually have a banana before playing which helps — I don’t cramp. I’m wondering if I’m not having as much water as I should, if I should use energy drinks or powders or have a banana in between sets.
