Tension and balance - a true physics defying story

You all are going to explain why this is impossible, but here's what happened:

I demo'd a vcore pro 97 with looser string tension that I normally play with (51 vs 55). I loved it and bought it, requesting it to be strung at 54 with the same strings as the demo (guage same too).

The minute I picked up my new racket I was upset because it felt more head heavy than the demo. I loved the balance of the demo and this felt a few grams off. Yonex is known for their consistency, so I began googling to see if maybe there were different years or something (both demo and new rackets are the 310g model).

After hitting with it, I decided to go with a looser tension. The minute I picked it up, the balance felt JUST like the demo. I am elated, but perplexed. Looser tension should require MORE string, so if it made any perceptible difference, it'd make it feel more head heavy, not less.

Anyone have an explanation?

TLDR: I restrung my new racket with lower tension and it felt less head-heavy. Less tension should increase the head weight, technically.

Edit: I forgot that I had weighed it with my kitchen scale! It weighed about 328g with the tighter string and 332g after. So, it's conceiveable the balance changed too...

Edit 2: I didn't want to include in the post, but I did measure balance point by holding the racket frame between two fingers and sliding them up and down. The balance point is about an inch closer to the handle than it was with the tighter strings.
