Hey guys, hoping you can help me here. First: I have an email out to Tech Sights already regarding this issues and have sent them the same pictures, but I'm hoping to get this resolved before the weekend so my 10/22 is ready for the Appleseed shoot I'm headed to.

So, as you can see by the pictures, the 10-32x1/4" Dog Point screw does not seem to seat itself deep enough to engage the opposing face of the sight (you should be able to see the screw spanning across the little slit of daylight, that little fleck is definitely not it) in order to wedge the whole thing into the dovetail properly. I've taken the whole assembly apart and reinstalled it a couple times to ensure I was assembling it as per the instructions and each time the end result was the same. The screw binds and stops turning at the point you can see in the second image, before the entire thing is flush. Obviously I don't want to force it and have already put more force than I would thing would be necessary to set it properly to no avail.

I don't see any visible damage to the threads of the screw or the hole, and don't see any debris obstructing anything.

Man...knocking out the factory front sight was supposed to be the hard part of this project...but it is turning out to be the easiest!

Thanks for any help you guys can provide!
