What's up, y'all. I just signed up for YouTube Premium today, actually by accident because I wasn't really paying attention, but there is a download button on the video page (accessing YouTube via Google Chrome on a Mac computer) and I clicked it and it said that it was downloaded.
I looked at a couple articles, saying the downloads are in the Downloads folder, which it was not, or in the Videos folder, which was just bringin' me down. Then I discovered a Downloads section on the YouTube Premium account, but it's still on the YouTube website, there's no option to access an actual file. So it seems like YouTube Premium downloads are really just more like a playlist, but aren't actually downloads. And that I just wanted to ask if anybody can confirm whether or not that's correct. I'm aware of a few workarounds, so I'm not looking for that information. Just if the downloads are really downloads, or if my whole life is just a lie.
