Huntsman spiders like this one here are awesome to have around the house because they keep other pest insects like ants and cockroaches from coming into your home. They’re venomous but not deadly to humans and contrary to that they’re more scared of humans than we are of them.

At home they roam rent free but at work I catch them on a regular and put them in places I’d like them to keep clean of pests. Like any other day I caught one but was too busy to put it somewhere handy so I left her under a cup in my office and ran off to do some work. I came back to my office an hour later and she was gone. So now she lives in my office by the open window. I never see her I just know she’s still around because her webs are all over the window frame. That’s my G right there cause I haven’t seen any other pests in my office since 🫱🏾‍🫲🏽
