As the title says, I’ve been back on keto for 1 week. And I’m down 7lbs! Yes, I do know this is water weight, but I’m still happy.
Last time I did keto was in 2018 for about 8 months. I really enjoyed it, but I convinced myself I needed to find “balance” again because I like weightlifting. I was doing okay with maintaining my weight, kind of. It was definitely creeping up again.
Fast forward to the last year, and I’ve gotten up to 206 lbs. I was having a lot of issues with my GERD, constipation, and extreme bloating. I’m a 6ft tall lady, so while 206 carried relatively well on my frame, I was so uncomfortable not knowing from day to day whether my clothes would fit due to all the bloating.
I haven’t had a single bout of unexplained bloating all week. Or acid reflux. I just feel really good. I started my electrolytes from day 1, so I think I’m avoiding the flu because of it.
Oh, and I got my period last night for the first time in over a year. Yay hormonal regulation!
