The USFL securing a huge broadcasting deal with Fox is a huge loss for the XFL. There's no way the two leagues can have games at the same time. It's just impossible, one league is inevitably going to top another, and the XFL might be doomed.

Maybe I'm just overreacting, but I am going to be so fucking upset if the league folds. I'm a huge Battlehawks fan, went to all of the home games, and there was just something magical and spectacular during those XFL games. It was indescribable and no other sports league could produce that feeling for excitement each gameday. I can't imagine that being taken away. If the XFL folds, then the USFL will most likely put a team in St Louis. That's awesome, but the problem is that us St Louis fans won't give a shit anymore. We've already been both screwed by the Rams and now the XFL Battlehawks, both teams that us fans have invested time and money into, just vanished. I just hope the XFL can make it out alive, because this is a very terrible situation for the league at the moment.
