Tip for beastmaster hunters: water striders are tameable and they are awesome.

Water striders were added as a tameable exotic pet in Mists of Pandaria. Not only are these pets really damn cool, they also provide a cool skill and an incredibly good raid buff:

Surface Trot, which provides water walking for the pet and hunter for 10 minutes

Still Water, a passive buff that provides 10% Spell power and 5% critical strike chance to the entire raid (same buff that mage's arcane brilliance provides).

I discovered this a few weeks ago, and our raid group is lacking a mage, enhancement shaman, warlock and feral druid, so it provided a huge bonus.

Go fetch one in Zangarmarsh now!
