Okay, so long story short. I have TMJ my joints are grinding on each other. Physical therapist says I should work out to make the muscles in my neck and arms stronger so it doesn't interfere with my TMJ and jaw muscles as much. Also my therapist recommends that I try working out. The problem is I tried body weight exercises but it put me in more pain like my body weight was too much. I'm not entirely sure what to do for lighter exercises? Or if anyone with TMJ has any experience or tips that they can give me to help me deal with this a little bit better with exercising because it does make me feel mentally better but physically it hurts.
