Hi All,
Unfortunately, I do not have a photo to share as the tree in question existed many years ago and I don't have access to it. At my parents' old house in Wisconsin when I was a kid, there was a tree or tall bush that used to have green seed pods that I believe were square in shape made up of about four conjoined pods, about three quarters of an inch in size, and inside had maybe four reddish seeds. It might not have been natural to the region, and could have been planted there deliberately. Unfortunately, the house is no longer ours and my parents are unable to remember this. I have been searching every variation of this description for years, and have had no success whatsoever. For very personal reasons, I'd love to know which tree this was, and any help would mean so, so much to me. Thanks for your time!
