WTP for (its more like a “Murphy’s Law” in that it has a title) it’s the idea that you know something is a bad idea but you have a sudden urge to do it.

Post Body

For example, I could cooking something over the stove. And out of the blue I’d get the question of “I wonder what would happen if I tried to touch it?” But you know it’s a bad idea but even if you’ve never touched it in your life, even if you never knew anyone who ever touched it.

I heard it used once during a Creepypasta but I can’t find the video. The narrator was talking with a demonic bird and the bird said something that annoyed the narrator and he said he wanted to straggle the bird but knew it was a bad idea. But he said the phrase/title/name first and then described what it was.
