What i am trying to accomplish is, purchase a van somewhere in the EU, register that vehicle and insure it. But as someone without a residence in the EU. This is basically impossible. So i would need someone to register and insure it under their name for me. As we have no friends or family to use their address/name. We are really struggling to find a viable option for purchasing, registering and insuring a van as a non-resident.

I have been researching this topic for over a year and the only solution I found was a woman offering a registration and insurance service in the Netherlands. But she ended up being a very difficult person to deal with. It seems like our dream of traveling around europe in a campervan is becoming impossible.... which is sad as we have been planning for 3 years.

Does anyone have any insight? We are in crisis mode as we are set to leave for europe in May 2019
