On the edge of quitting due to lying schedules and managers who dont listen
Post Body

I am a full time student currently in college. I do not have time to work 40 hours a week. I have stated this for 2 months. Still nothing. I requested 4 days, was told okay, nothing. Still 5 (sometimes fucking 6) days a week. Today i was supposed to be a Cashier. So was I yesterday. No. I have been outside in a job position i left 2 months ago for 3 weeks now. I havent touched a till in 3 weeks and thats what im scheduled to be doing. I got half a point for putting in 3 hours of ppto to finish a 7 hour shift. Customers have slammed my fingers in carts, ran into me, and even complained that im unfriendly. I am at my last straw. I do not get paid enough to work 2 jobs and have it be a gamble if ill be doing my job or someone elses. The ONLY reason I havent quit, is because 14 an hour is double where anywhere else will pay me. This is awful management. If youre short staffed somewhere.. HIRE. THERES HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE NEEDING JOBS. HIRE SOMEONE ALREADY.
