I was wondering about if having a waifu is different than an imaginary gf (the same way of "imaginary" as an imaginary friend for a kid). What's your opinion about that?
Also, i know that for some christian religions, God love us and we can kinda have an intimate relationship (not like a gf, but more than just a friend, nothing sexual, just appreciate each other) and for them, most of the addictions like drugs, alchool, sex, porn, etc. are considered as replacement of God in our lives, to temporarily and incompletely fill a hole inside of us. So i was considering that maybe waifuism, according to this believes, is the worst sin because you know that you know that you miss someone to love in your live, but don't give a f**k (idk if it's legal here) about God and create your own fake love partner (exactly like an idol which is considered as a very awful sin). Any thoughts about that?
On the other side, according to atheism, we can also think that an imaginary person who really love us like God is is supposed to do and that is always here with us to support and take care of us, but that is never physically present, is like a waifu. Maybe that God was the "first waifu" xD What are your thoughts about that?
