New to Waifu2x-Extension-GUI, need help to upscale 1080 video to 4k

Hi team,
I have some 1080 blu-ray's of Spice and Wolf, Josie and the pussy cats (from the 70s) and some more modern TV shows like Billions. Would love to experiment with upscaling them all to 4k.
I have the media decrypted as MPEG2 Transport stream (M2TS) files and I have installed Waifu2x-Extension-GUI. That's as far as I have got.
Is there a guide or some websites I should be looking at?
I'm not 100% sure how to use the tool or what settings I should be using.
