Happy Monday /r/vmware. I'm really looking for a perspective from a multi-tennant administrator, but all are welcome. I'm trying to get my team to expand their horizons and embrace the future. We were entrenched on ESXi 4.1 until about a year ago, but finally got moved on to 5.5, and hopefully on to 6 before the end of the year. Hardware refresh is next on the list, but at the same time I'm trying to figure out what features we've been missing out on in the last couple years or so. VSPP gives me pretty much unlimited licensing, so that's not really a factor (from what I remember).
So here's the question. Outside of vSphere, what features are you all using in your production envionment? NSX? VSAN? VVols?
