Black Star is, without a doubt, top 2 or 3 hip hop records (and top 10 period) for me and I NEED it on wax. HOWEVER the most readily available copy I can find is the picture disk which is... divisive. The Amazon reviews are horrid but they were also horrid for the copy fo Mobb Deep’s Infamous I picked up that sounds great. Some people seem to have no issue whatsoever though. PLEASE does anyone on here have a copy and could you tell me if it’s worth a pickup? Alternatively there’s the Italian Bootleg with an expanded tracklist which I can’t find any reporting on, and there’s the original release which I just plain can’t find a copy of under $150 which is madness. Basically anything y’all got on one of my favorite albums would be helpful.
