In the last month I have stayed 2 nights at MGM :2 bed King , and 2 nights at D Hotel. 2 bed King. Wow! I expected more from the MGM Grand but I should have known better lol it’s so old. The room was below average and i would compare it to Luxor honestly, the beds were so hard ! Oh my; by far the hardest beds I have slept on. And I have stayed at some cheap motels lol the walk from the room to the Strip is too far, the Sportsbook is an EMBARRASSMENT. If the room was better I would not mind the walk but gezz. ( I also stayed at the Aria recently, I have loved it there since I first stayed 3 years ago) now D hotel. I was impressed. Uber drop off to front desk was a BREEZE! Checked in on a Saturday around noon and got a room assigned within 2 hours. To me that’s good. The hall way to the room was clean , no weird smells. I got to the room and the room was clean and had no bad smell. The beds were soft and the view is nice. WOW the sunrise over the mountains was something. I love that it’s a 5 min walk from the room to Walgreens and 2 min walk to Fremont . I got the rooms comp but I would definitely recommend staying there for the Fremont experience. WhiteCastle is a 5 min walk too, amazing lol so D hotel > MgM grand lol the only positive for MGM Grand is the Pools .
