Hello.
Today I am trying again to get back to being vegan. My main problems are the following:
- I have bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder, which makes me think of food a lot, it makes me feel very anxious if I don't eat, and it's probably the reason I have failed going vegan for more than a few months at a time. Did anyone struggle with this? How did you overcome it?
- I usually manage to keep it up for a few months, then usually I give up due to social pressure, at parties or places where meat is served. This kind of behaviour is just my shitty personality finding excuses, I know, but it's true. I`m shitty, but I don't want to be.
- It's hard for me as I do not have anyone at all who shares the same views/recipes, and I really enjoy talking about cooking.
I don't know, I just need some help, especially if anyone fought eating disorders while going vegan. I honestly believe that the fact that I constantly think about food and my brain spams me with bullshit is the reason I keep failing and failing this. Especially since I'm not a huge meat fat anyway.
