Hey guys.
Long story short there's a group of 16 of us going to Canada and I'm processing through everyone's record one at a time. So far I've gotten:
-Myself: Underage drinking, 10 years ago. Was 19 so shouldn't be a problem since that isn't a crime in Canada.
-Friend one: possession of 2.7 grams of marijuana 8 years ago. May be a problem. Going to hope for the best and plan for the worst.
-The last person I'm checking on is friend two, who had a weird situation 5 years ago where a cop pulled him over in his neighborhood late at night, asked him a ton on questions, and ended up arresting him for OVI on basically just the 's "gut feeling" (yes my friend is black, but we can get into systematic racism later). My friend was found not guilty at trial, has documents and judge's signature to prove it. How should he handle this at the border? He does not have a record of any type and this is his only run in with police.
