Last year I resigned from my GS position for a position in the private sector. When I received my SF—50, I noticed an error indicating “Resigned ILIA” I didn’t know what that acronym even was so I contacted my former HR.
I was told by my former HR that this designation is not a detriment toward my separation, because the code ILIA is the same as a standard resignation.
Can anyone attest to the accuracy of this claim?
My private sector position was lost due to Covid, I’ve been applying for many positions back in the govt for which I’m well qualified for, but have not received any traction. Could this ILIA status be a detriment to my applications?
Thank you!
