Post Body

What are some routes/destinations in the UK that you’d recommend to do by train rather than car/bus? e.g. Scenic train ride, more convenient than bus (less transfers needed), faster than bus/car (due to road conditions or route). Any and all recommendations are welcome!

Leeds-Settle-Carlise

Return ticket for Carlisle to Leeds. Would be recommend to do specific trains. Thie is mainly because it's a limited service and you wouldn't want a ticket with multiple changes. Do check it's stops, some trains skip some stops on the line. It's possible to do it in a day. You get like 2-4 hours at your destination.
