I really like Drill as well as Grime but I’m a bit nervous to actually go to gigs and stuff because I’m not your typical fan. I’m gay & feminine and don’t dress in street style clothes, so feel I’d stick out at a gig and look out of place or not feel very welcome on the scene. Feel I’m just confined to enjoying it on YouTube and Spotify. Wondering if anyone knows what the scene is like here? Likely just all in my head but curious to know what others think. I do know peeps who like drill here too but it’s a bit precarious as to how I know them, so they wouldn’t invite me along to gigs or anything. Not that id ever embarrass them, but just think they wouldn’t want that risk of their mates asking how they know me. So yeah, confined to enjoying it on Spotify currently. Which is fine, but I’d like to support artists from time to time and actually attend any gigs they may promote.
