Advice on Dealing with a Mess a pax made
Post Body

Not sure how to explain this without going into all the details but I will do my best. Basically, this past Saturday evening I picked a passenger. Turns out to be three people. No big deal. Anyway, after I drop them off. I pick up two other passengers. The last passenger informs me of a "spill" of some kind on the back seat on the driver's side. Passenger interestingly enough does not cancel, and I take him to his destination. I then go to a nearby gas station and see for myself. There is indeed a spill! Initially I thought it was vomit but I now believe it is a Shake Shack milkshake. I then go to a nearby grocery store get some cleaning supplies. I take pictures of the damage and send it to Uber, with a picture of the receipt. Uber charges the pax $150, which I have already received. Unfortunately, it is now looking like the damage may be more extensive and 150 just is not going to cut it. What would I like to know is should I try to contact the passenger directly or submit another claim via app? What do you all think my next course of action should be, if anything?

Update: I have figured out how to remove the bench in the back. Cleaned up the mess. Currently trying to get rid of the smell. I put some charcoal in the car, so hopefully that works. I’ve decided against contacting the passenger. It would have been more of a hassle and the payoff would not have been worth it. I appreciate everyone’s response, you all have been helpful.
