Exactly one year ago, I posted my first script on this account, and now I've outgrown it.

The last part of the "I simply have to have you", aka vampire Val series will probably be my final post on here. I've decided to drop 'simp trash' for multiple reasons, but I still wanted this series to come to a proper end, since it's grown very dear to me. (To think it's almost one year old, and has led me to create six other characters and multiple hours of lore... just because I got some blood drawn. Weird stuff!)

To be honest with you, this account’s name was something I came up with on a whim, because I wanted to start writing and didn't know how else to call myself. I didn't expect to be known by anyone, to get almost 500 fills (which is absolutely insane btw, considering I've only posted about 30 scripts), to start interacting with people, to make acquaintances and even some real friends - otherwise I would have thought a bit harder! 

‘Simp trash’ was meant to be some underground basement dweller who just puts out his writing, maybe gets a few fills and doesn’t talk to anyone. In any other context, it just sounds a bit strange. Multiple people have made remarks about the name, and I’d tell them all the same thing; I’m uncreative and didn’t think it would matter.

But that's part of why I'll soon be starting over with a new name, new account and a (slightly) new and improved style. I'm not sure if I want to officially link the two just yet, maybe I’ll crosspost sometime in the future. If anyone is really curious though, feel free to shoot me a private message and I'll give you my new username. Just don't be disappointed when I try different things. There's more than flirty vampires and sadistic villains in my brain, after all. Even if that’s hard to imagine!

Either way… Thank you to everybody who has liked and supported my work at any point this past year! You guys still mean absolutely everything to me and every single interaction, comment, message, fill or upvote made me smile and motivated me to keep going, despite all the breaks I've been taking. I don't usually stick to anything for long, so this is a real milestone for me!

I would specifically like to say thank you to u/TheFroggyPrincess02 aka frog_writes, who has stuck with me for almost the entire year, proofreading my work and being an awesome friend from the start. 

There are also a couple of other creators who left a massive impact on me, but I feel like it'd be rude to tag them… If they see this, awesome! If not, I still very much appreciate them all.

This includes: 

• Cierna (@ciernaasmr on yt) for being the first to ever fill one of my scripts. I never forgot that feeling of hearing my work performed for the first time. 
• Ubel (@ubelloss on yt) for being the first person to come back and fill multiple of my scripts. At one point, he'd voiced almost every single one I'd written! 
• Milky Tea (@milkyteaasmr on yt) for also being a returning VA who filled a lot of my work. Seeing others enjoy more than one of my scripts gave me a lot of confidence. Nothing is more validating than people coming back for more!
• Nightshade Queen (@nighstadequeenasmr on yt) for not only being incredibly supportive of my Val series and motivating me to keep it going with it, but also allowing me to make an appearance on her channel and generally being a sweetheart.

And so many others that have been an incredible part of my journey. The people who followed and commented (especially the early ones), the friends I’ve made, the people who inspired me, the voice actors who filled my scripts - especially those who debuted and grew with my work. If I were to thank everyone who’s had any kind of impact on me since I started, this post would be way too long, but I hope you know who you are. All of you.

Man, it really feels like I’m killing a part of myself with this, but it’s been bugging me for far too long, and it’s not like I’ll never get to write again. Let’s see where things go now… For the time being, I’ve had a lot of fun. I hope you did, too.
