Hello again kind stranger,

I know I have a bit of a questionable post history per se, and it is somewhat extensive. I kind of took it upon myself to figure out what the optimal times to post to local subreddits was, and I don't believe the metrics available from third party traffic trackers are quite right, so I thought I'd generate my own by posting at different times and review the viewership statistics. I've done my best to keep things varied while also truthful to my interests, so don't worry about anything being disingenuous- if I've said it, I meant it.

As for my viewership statistics, I find the best exposure tends to come from the local subreddits. I'd guess that's because the more general, non geographic based subreddits tend to have so many people that posts either reach meteoric levels of popularity and can ride the wave to stay on top, or are almost immediately inundated by the tide of all the other users posting and buried, never to be seen by anyone not specifically searching for specific keywords. Mornings seem best to post, as the subreddits are not yet crowded, but evenings tend to be when I receive the most messages, regardless of when the actual post is made, but there isn't a huge difference either way. In the beginning, I had about 50% more views per post, and I'm not sure if I should attribute that to either the Reddit algorithm favoring new posters, the community recognizing my username and knowing what my posts are like, or simply the communities growing and becoming more subject to the above mentioned inundation issues.

When I made my first post, I spent several hours writing my heart out, knowing that I wanted to put everything on the table and could use that base to craft future posts without having to rewrite a novel every time. Admittedly, the novel plan didn't exactly pan out like I'd hoped, since the post ended up being way too long for most people to actually sit through and read (thank you if you did though!), but it did make subsequent ones a lot easier, so most posts I've made are some derivative of the original with a specific spin on whatever I felt like I wanted to look for on a given day. The original has been pinned at the top of my profile for your convenience, if you should feel so inclined to give it a read, but since the number of subsequent ones is getting a little high, I thought I'd make a summary of what I've gone looking for previously, both to save you some scrolling, and to help me remember what the heck I've actually posted about so I hopefully don't repeat myself too much.
