Ignore the cringe and edgey name, I just though it fit with the build. I wanted to try and make a corrupted build. Unfortunately, corrupted perks aren't super good but I found something that was reasonbly viable in PvP. The guide will be split in four parts, Attributes, Armor, and Gameplay
I .
1. Attributes
Strength: 20
Max and corrupt it. I honestly thought that losing Combo master and Heavy Blows would lower the damage tremendously, but it actually doesn't. The only attack on the corrupted build that's lower is the fourth heavy.
Agility: 0
Not enough points to invest here
Vitality: 20
Max it and corrupt nine points of it. The rest of the perks just aren't worth it imo. Take fast Healer and Glutton for Punishment.
Authority: 10
Corrupt it. This build needs this in order to function. Flesh Bond makes it so that your half health is pretty much negated.
Grit: 5
Stam
Expertise: 5
Need the extra weight for pouches and such.
2. Armor
For this build I've decided to use light. The main issue with this build is the halved stamina. Being in light will lower your roll costs and increase your stamina Regen. This will make you a fair amount more squishy though, so be careful.
Exile Lands
Armor | Bonus |
---|---|
Silent Legion Light | 48 HP |
Voidforged Dragonhide | 8% strength weapon damage |
Voidforged Dragohide | 48 HP |
Voidforged Dragonhide | 12 Stamina |
Silent Legion Ligjt | 12 Stamina |
Total Bonus | ** 8% damage, 96 HP, and 24 Stamina |
- Set up only has 560 armor so be careful.
Siptah
Armor | Bonus |
---|---|
Aspect of the Demon | Dense |
Black Coursier | 48HP |
Jhil's Gloves | Jhil's Stamina |
Black Coursier | 48 HP |
Blackwater | 12 Stamina |
Total Bonus | ** 96 HP and 12 Stamina |
- This build is much better IMO. It has 887 Armor so it's much more tanky. The increase Stam Regen from the Jhils is excellent. The Regen allows me to get an extra roll if I spam roll and it will help amazingly with attacking and not stamming out very quickly.
3. Gameplay
The first thing I want to cover is what thralls you should use. With a set up like this, you should probably just use zombies. Relic Hunters will outdamage the zombies but you're not really worried about their damage. Zombies are extremely tanky and you can use three of them. Their tankiness will help with them taking half of all the damage you take, and even if they die they're so easy to replace it doesn't really matter. They also have a lot of inventory room so they can help carry stuff if you're out farming.
My biggest suggestion for this and any corrupted build is to be very mindful of your stamina. This is why the build is in light armor. My suggestion again is to use lower stamina weapons.
Any strength weapon works for this build, though it was made for using pike and war hammer in mind due to their light attacks being really good imo. I'd just shy away from weapons like the sword and axe where the Heavy attacks are normally the openers for your combo.
Remember your corrupted perks. While they aren't crazy strong remember to use mule kick, and that wrack lowers your opponents damage by twenty percent. Dessicate when it triggers is pretty nice as well.
Also, you're fully Corrupted so use magic if you need it.
Overall I'm actually very happy with how this came out. I sat for a while trying to find something i like. I did some PvP against one of my clan mates to see how well I could fight with the low stamina, and I was doing pretty well. Though that wasn't on this exact build, but this one should perform better than that one. I wanted to create a build that could cast spells and also bash heads and I think I did that pretty well. Thanks to u/Paladynne for this new format.
