Hello from Australia!
This is mostly for my snail mail buddies. If you are like me and need prompts to both select cards and write messages, feel free to use the following to guide your process.
Something interesting about where you live (food, markets/shops, architecture, wildlife, historical places or events etc.). Australia is quite isolated from well, everywhere, so let me know about where you live.
Your native language - I only speak English so if you are multilingual, show off a little. Dazzle me with your tongue. Well, pen to be precise. Just remember to translate anything unless you want me to entrust your words to machine translation.
Landscapes - either nature or man-made structures. Something that shows off your country. Somewhere that I can go visit when I have a vault full of money to spend on travel (or specifically not visit if tourism is completely destroying location in question).
Anything autumn/fall related. I live in the subtropics with only two seasons - wet and less wet, so I have always found the season fascinating. (Winter on the other land looks miserable - I struggle with any temperature below 15°C).
Other random interests/genres that may help you pick a card/topic to talk about: STEM, ancient history, old trees, cello/classical music, and a very eclectic mix of TV/anime/video games/other media.
5.1. Some of my favourites: The Mandalorian, Andor, HBOs Rome, Brooklyn 99, season 1 (and only season 1) of Love, Death, Robots, Calvin and Hobbes, Haikyuu!! (despite disliking anything sport related in all other media), Natsume's Book of Friends, Samurai Champloo, Demon Slayer, Borderlands, Mass Effect 2, and Stardew Valley.
Hope this helps, Amrache.
