The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort Villas — I took the bait

Post Body

I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and received a promotional mailer to attend a 90-minute "vacation package" sales pitch in exchange for 4 nights and 15K Bonvoy points for $299. I've honestly always been curious to take one of these deals because I have zero problems with stonewalling the sales pitch and not buying into a timeshare. We are planning to go in January 2023, which supposedly has pretty enjoyable weather with a near-zero chance for rain. Has anyone stayed at this specific resort or gone through a similar Westin Vacation Package sales pitch? I'd love to hear the good, funny, and ugly experiences to know what I am in for.
