The trauma doesn’t ever really go away. You can heal and have a handle on things, but it’s still there.
For some, trauma only reinforced the idea that they are, and always will be, a victim. But other people are able to turn it around and create a new narrative, so to speak.
What led to you seeking everything that can destroy you. Tell me how you developed a new outlook once you gave into certain urges. Or maybe you’re like so many others who used their trauma as the only thing they’d ever known and continued a very unhealthy cycle of abuse towards others.
