What kind of aggressive wear is this?

Bought this tire new in August. It's the front passenger tire on my 07 civic coupe. I hit a deer last week, but with the driver side. I'd assume it's the alignment, but the wear only extends around maybe ⅓ of the tire, with a bad spot about half as long on the opposite side. Why?
