There was some chinese movie I watched over 10 years ago that was based on this one man who may or may not have had a daughter who he ended up needing to find, he played a fighting game at an arcade and from my memory whether in the game or irl he started defeating random people (bosses) to get to the truth about his missing daughter, most of the synopsis may have taken place within the arcade machine, taking on a realistic setting with gaming undertones inserted into the setting. Help me remember :(
