Watched this on a fan site around 06, never finished it. Had a kid with a purple shirt and brown pants I think. Anyway he idolized a team of monster hunters and they are killed first episode. I think the leader left him an air gun.
The monster that killed them was a humanoid rock monster I think. I know he could talk and wasn't a mindless beast. He also visited a club or hotel that had a yellow rabbit as concierge(sp)
After they kill a monster they go to town and a mystic looks in their eyes to see what they see so they collect bounties for the monsters.
That's all I remember.
