So a while back I found a game dev making devlogs about their game, I found them very enjoyable and highly technical, they were making a game in Unity, a 2D platformer, where the main character couldn't actually jump but could choose to be affected by the gravity of an object, but there were also portal style jump pads that would launch the main character.
I distinctly remember they made multiple very technical devlogs, basically Unity tutorials, ranging from how they're transitioning from one scene to another, to how the jump pads work, to how they made a custom renderer to render tons of ropes/ vines in a performant and pixel perfect way.
