Best ways to thoroughly test a used laptop?

Post Body

Hey all! I had gotten some really helpful recommendations from you all in a previous post and found what I think is a decent deal on this used x270. Thing is, the seller had some mixed reviews with duds and I'm a little new to buying used laptops through third parties, so as much as the laptop seems to be workings alright I'd like to test it as thoroughly as possible. I've seen some advice on battery and SSD I/O tests, but more input would be really appreciated! Is there any way to test down to specific components, especially beyond just functional or not functional? Especially for components that might have degraded and may need replacing, etc.
