Thoughts from the AMA: Lots of sales code speak, seeming to be hiding something still, besides one or two off comments there's really no sense of apology, or "we did nothing wrong, the game will be late just deal with it" feel. But whatever, the game is late how can we go from there? Lets look at some comments that I feel are especially worrying with the new direction.

Q: Is there going to be a ladder system in the final release of the game? Will there be an incentive to pvp? Such as rewards based on wins / position in the ladder / daily or weekly objectives / bonus'? exclusive skins / units?

"We have plans for similar features to be included in the PvP Online mode, as well as exclusive items for both single player and PvP."

Q: What is the point of you holding this AMA? We have to go along with whatever you're going to do anyways. Why not just own up to that?

"I believe it to be transparent about our development plans and progress going forward."

The problem here is that they've lost half the userbase over an announcement of PvP, and everything that they're saying isn't transparent, but rather salesly pitchy as if they're trying to get more money or something later on. Looking at the next answer, it's beginning to make more sense.

Lastly, there was a somewhat strange question, I'm very surprised that got answered,

Q: Is there any DLC planned for the game currently?

"Yes, this will come in the way of item packs and additional episodes."

VERY disappointing to hear this answer. The game has been pushed back an ADDITIONAL year without showing ANYTHING gameplay related, and they're already planning additional DLC, micropayment and game packs? If people weren't upset before this should set off the catalyst.
