Decorating Challenge #3 Results!
Post Body

I would like to start with congratulating you all! this week was super-duper hard to chose the top three, you sure made me work for it! I love how the picture rule of using the sim point of view turned out, the pictures quality is better than ever, and I hope you see it too!

Now to some bad news.. Next deco challenge might be my last. I miss being able to participate.. I haven't decided anything final yet, just letting you know where my head is! Enough of the sadness, here's the result!

1st Place: Ladylad72! Yet again Ladylad72 snatched the first place, despite using TS2, and I hope that will inspire more users of TS2 to join the challenges! This room won because it emotes a feeling to me, a calm, relaxing one. Everything from the colors to the big windows and many many plants and flowers work in harmony with each other. Good job, you deserve it!

2nd Place: PeanutMonkey! I can see that you clearly spent alot of time on this, even planning on the windowviews. I love the bold orange and teal against the wood. and the decor is simple put effective.

(I think you need more wood panel!)

3rd Place: CicisbeoOfCognizance! WOW. Very original! I love how you thought outside of the box, and I would love to have this kind of room IRL, or just in the Sims. When you used the colors from the bookshelves it really tied the room together, good job!

Remaining Entries in Alphabetical Order

  • AngelofDeaf As you may or may not know, I love the modern style when I build and decorate. You did a good job, with the clean colors, edges, and the use of glass walls was perfect! Also there isn't much clutter or furniture, which makes it even better. Keep it clean :) very good job!
  • ForestfortheDraois first I thought it was a really dark room, but then I saw how the furniture and the paintings lifted it all. You used bold patterns but tied it together with the furniture and the fond wall. It looks great! good job :)
  • iloveoldladyfeet You made a beautifully elegant room in B/W, and the pink tones to break it off made it more feminine. My favorite picture is #6! It really captivates the essence of the room. :)
  • Lilusa Wow! Are you sure you're not seven your self?? Because this is something my cousin would LOVE to live in! You managed to to a sugar sweet room in pink and purple without going over the top, and all the little details are just perfect. You should be very proud!
  • Linalangley You did a really good job with the decor, and the wooden floors was beautiful. The fond wall in as a nice touch!
  • pretty-little-angle Very white crisp, flowing, breezy. A summer beach-house bedroom. Everything from the colours to the decor is awesome and fits perfectly!
  • SunnyD8603 I have a personal problem with teal, but you somehow made it work, good job! You matched it perfectly with different kind of materials etc. And the little details everywhere made it seem very realistic, good job!
