Just got the game and the DLC. Can I get the DLC skills?

Random question, I saw that the DLC has some more skills. Is it possible to unlock those without interrupting my progress on the main campaign and keeping my level in tact?

The only way to get the dlc skills are through the new york expansion, which requires you to be max level at world level 5. So you can go and do it but it'll boost your character to that level, and you'll miss all of the story from the campaign. I would suggest playing through tbr game till world level 5 then going, its worth it cause it'll add a bunch of game play time.
