Why do they still call him ALF?
Post Body

Okay, so I used to watch ALF when it was originally on as a kid, and recently they have started showing it again on The Hub channel. It is still awesome and it is a great piece of my 80's nostalgia childhood, but something has dawned on me.

He has revealed his name as Gordon Schumway to the family, but they still call him ALF. I mean, I know it's sitcom rules, but they know who he is, and he has an actual name. Why didn't they use his name after they found out what it was?
