Idk if its just where im @ but there are mad people around me proudly claiming having ai girlfriends and ts just weird ash to me its not even like they literally are dating a computer. I think what’s so weird about it is the idea of them being completely sincere and aren’t even cognizant that it might be a problem. Imagine your talking to someone and mentioning your “gf” and they ask to see what she looks like, or maybe even a double date. What do you even say? Do you look up a random photo of a girl? Or do you be honest and actually say that it’s a literal generated person? The whole conversation would most likely have a horrible outcome than if you were to just say you don’t actually have a gf. Not to mention the complications on it’s own of HAVING an AI generated gf. You can’t be physical, couldn’t have a human conversation, or even just relate to the person because THEY AREN’T REAL. I just don’t get how someone could have a feel of love for someone who doesn’t provide anything emotional besides something that was randomly generated by a random creator
