Memtest 86 fails on two separate, known working RAM sets - what's wrong with my PC?

Post Body

First off, the symptoms that initially caused me to start looking into this - I've been having a bit of instability on my PC, which I overlooked, but finally started looking into the issue when I found I couldn't play more than a few minutes of Subnautica without crashing. From there, I ran Memtest 86 and got a failure. There's a twist, though. Memtest failed on two separate sets of ram (one 16gb, one 32gb), and one of those sets passed with flying colors in another PC.

Outside of Subnautica, my PC seems to run, more or less, fine. I've played plenty of games in the past few weeks and haven't had any issues. I edit large amounts of photos on the PC on a daily basis, and run lots of RAM intensive operations. I had one or two BSOD, which was kind of out of the ordinary, but I'm not seeing any really overt instability.

Things I've tried so far:

  • Reseating Ram (About a dozen times)
  • Moved sticks to other slots
  • Made sure BIOS was completely up-to-date
  • Swapping out RAM (I've tested two different sets, both known to work)
  • Testing RAM with Memtest86 on another computer (Passed with flying colors)
  • Prime 95 Burn-in to check for CPU and RAM stability in Windows
  • Checked Temps.
  • Dropped all clocks to stock - both CPU and RAM (XMP off)
  • Blow out interior of PC and check all connections
  • Make sure PSU is properly plugged in and working (It's a Seasonic I've had for a month or so, so I doubt this is the issue).
  • Probably a number of other things I've forgotten.

So here I am - looking to the experts - people who likely know what these results mean specifically.

What I have noticed is that I'm fairly certain it always fails in test 6. Almost every time (if not every time) I get 26 errors, and then it goes on to complete the rest of the tests.

From what I can tell, it's not the RAM, since I've tested multiple sets, all failed, and one of the sets passed properly in another PC. So what's the next most likely culprit? CPU? Mobo? Maybe something that won't cost me anything that I overlooked (lol)?

Here are some photos of the test running:

My pertinent hardware:

Mobo: Z170A SLI Plus

Processor - i7-6700k

Thanks ahead of time!

Edit: Bumped the voltage up on my RAM - no idea why I hadn't thought of that, and it's passing the test. No idea what caused it to need that bump considering I haven't changed anything, but I'm not complaining. I'll continue testing in hopes that it sticks, trying out Subnautica now.

Edit 2: Four cycles of Memtest86 and two hours of Subnautica later, it's still working. Looks like the voltage bump did it for now. Not sure why I'd have to do that voltage bump after so long of everything working fine, but it'll at least hold me over until a good sale comes for a better mobo/processor.
