Does getting an extra M.2 SSD fix 100% disk usage?

Post Body

My pc has been running slow since December and it’s due to then fact that my pc keeps running at 100% disk usage. I’ve tried everything I’ve seen online to try and fix it but nothing has worked.

The disk usage seems to be normal when I’m playing games but when I open chrome or armoury crate it starts to act slow. Especially when I open armoury crate, my computer seems to be not able to handle a small app like that even though it’s a high end pc.

It also starts up slow. I have to wait about a minute after entering my password for it to log me in and even it shutting itself off takes a bit.

I have an M.2 SSD. Would buying a new one and putting that in the second M.2 slot on my motherboard fix the issue. Or if I were to just replace mine with a new one, how would I transfer the data to the new one (If this method if viable).

If anyone would like to share any other solutions to fixing high disk usage that isn’t a common method that I’ve probably already seen it would be greatly appreciated.
