Filed my 2022 return and it’s not on the IRS website.

Post Body

I filed my 2022 taxes late (July 31st, 2023). Received confirmation the same day that it was accepted, but still haven’t received my refund. The website said to wait 6 months before contacting. When I go to the website and check “Where’s my refund” nothing comes up.

It shows as if I never filed my taxes at all, but I have all the paperwork and emails showing that I have. It caused my 2023 taxes to be rejected, because of my AGI form I submitted for 2022 that apparently doesn’t exist to the IRS.

I’ve tried calling and can’t even get through to a real person. Just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else??
