Need help interpreting this spread

Going thru a difficult time that will, most likely at this point, end in a break up. I do not want this, but am open to what the universe has envisioned. That said, I wanted clarity, so I did a current relationship spread. West card (1) = my energy; East card (2) = her energy; middle (3) = our connection; north card (4) = our highest potential; South card = our lowest potential.

The first 3 cards are dead on accurate, but I can't make sense of the highest and lowest potential cards in their positions. Any insight or discussion would help me so much.
