Question about 2 tales of titles

Hello fans !
I would like to know wich tales of symphonia version is better ? on PS3 or gamecube. I have heard that the PS3 is slower but have more content.
I would to play Tales of legendia but i am from EU... I have tried to run it some years ago on my PC but it was lagging, on PSX, was it because that PC was not enough powerful or the game requires too much parameters ? (I hope this doesn't choke people if i talk about emulation)
